Established in 1975. It all started in the kitchen in 1966. Mama Avila brought the delicious recipes from Guanajuato, Mexico that had been in her family for generations. Over the years, Avila’s El Ranchito has grown to 13 locations in Los Angeles and Orange County. Each restaurant is under the personal care of a family member, guaranteeing the reputation the family has earned for treating our customers like part of the family.

Established in 1975 In the heart of Newport Beach, on the Balboa Peninsula, stands the most famous of the restaurants. Sergio Avila is the owner of what is known as the “International El Ranchito” because so many out-of-towners frequent here. T-shirts sold at this restaurant have been seen all over the world! His daughter Maribel Avila Ley and Valerie Avila Gagnon manage this location along with Huntington Beach and Corona Del Mar.
